Harney, William

William Harney teaches humanities at a small college north of Boston. His poems are always memories of ordinary encounters with people that for some reason have stuck in his mind. When William begins to recount these things, he almost always discovers what that reason is, that someone has mattered to him for who they are, that they’re linked emotionally somehow.
